Hip Pain
Hip pain can come from the joint itself, the low back, or the pelvis. We identify which — then restore comfortable, stable movement.

Hip pain can make walking, climbing stairs, and even sitting uncomfortable. Because the hip, pelvis, and lower back share so much load, pinpointing the true source is the key to lasting relief.
Is it your hip or your back?
Pain felt in the hip is sometimes referred from the lumbar spine, and back pain or sciatica can masquerade as hip pain. We test each region to separate them.
Restoring pain-free hip movement
Care combines adjustments to the pelvis and spine with rehabilitation that rebuilds the strength and mobility your hip needs to move freely.

From problem to outcome.
A clear, four-part path — so you always understand what’s happening and what comes next.
The Problem
Hip pain can arise from the joint, the surrounding muscles, the pelvis, or referred from the lower back. Without identifying the source, care often misses the mark.
How We Evaluate
We assess hip motion, strength, and stability alongside the lumbar spine and pelvis to determine exactly where your pain originates.
How We Treat It
We restore joint and pelvic motion with specific adjustments and rebuild support with targeted mobility and strengthening exercises.
Expected Outcome
Patients typically move more freely with less pain, and learn how to keep the hip strong and stable for the long term.
What progress looks like.
Every body is different, but here’s the general arc of care most patients follow.
Relief
Reduce pain and restore mobility.
Rebuild
Strengthen the glutes and stabilizers.
Reinforce
Movement training for lasting stability.
Questions about hip pain
Frequently, yes — especially when the pain involves the pelvis, lower back, or movement patterns. We evaluate the whole region and refer out if your exam points to a problem better managed elsewhere.
Low-back issues commonly refer pain into the hip and buttock. Our exam tests the spine, pelvis, and hip separately so we can identify the true source rather than guessing.
Gentle movement, avoiding prolonged sitting, and targeted mobility work usually help. After your evaluation we will give you specific exercises matched to your findings.

“I’ve had a few sessions here now for a hip issue I’ve been dealing with, and I’m really glad I found this place. “Let me start of by saying Dr. Drew and his team are truly one of a kind! The moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles from the team all with open arms. I haven't even started my treatment yet they all showed much appreciation of my presence. I came in Forza Chiropractic due to both knee pains, back pain, along with my hip popping in certain movements. Dr. Drew listened to every detail I explained to him about these pains. Talked me through what is needed to be done and bring me back to my regular self. I'm 3 weeks in now and before I came I couldn't run my regular runs of 5 to 10 miles. I now am able to run my 10 miles without stopping!! A year ago I couldn't have done this but now at Forza Chiropractic, I'm feeling like my old self!! P.S. Even though there's other patients there, the whole team still makes you feel like they're working with you one on one. Like you're their top priority. To have the whole team there is truly amazing! Oh they also remember your name every time you come in, which just puts the cherry on top.”

“The team at Forza chiropractic is top tier. As a long time dancer who no longer is as active, my hips lock up and I can experience pain in my lower back. Their services have helped me immensely. They are a family based clinic that happily welcomes all patients to be a part of that family dynamic. The staff is personable and interested in your health from all angles. The process is seamless and much of the stress associated with healthcare and expenses is eased by their front office staff. I’m always happy to be in the office and sincerely feel the staff feels the same about me. I always look forward to my next appointment.”

“Have had chronic lower back and hip pain for the last 3-4 years. Last chiropractor did not set any goals and would do realignments. First meeting I had with Dr. Drew, he sat me down and did a thorough review of my pain. He then discussed his plan of action but most importantly, he asked me for my goals. He explained that he wants to keep these in mind when moving forward to work towards something every visit. Extremely impressed and I look forward to future appointments!”
